मुंबई, दि. 19 : एनसीसी आंतरराज्यीय नेमबाजी क्रीडा स्पर्धेत महाराष्ट्र एनसीसी संचालनालयाला सलग दुसऱ्या वर्षी प्रथम क्रमांकासह विजेतेपद मिळवून देणाऱ्या महाराष्ट्र एनसीसी कॅडेट्सना राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी यांनी राजभवन येथे बोलावून कौतुकाची थाप दिली. महाराष्ट्र एनसीसी चमूने आता विजयाची हॅटट्रिक करण्याचे ध्येय समोर ठेवावे तसेच पुढील वर्षी अधिकाधिक सुवर्ण पदके जिंकावी अशी अपेक्षा राज्यपालांनी यावेळी बोलताना व्यक्त केली.
राज्यपालांच्या हस्ते यावेळी सर्व कॅडेट्सना छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांची मुद्रा व डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम यांचे अग्निपंख हे पुस्तक भेट देण्यात आले. चंदिगढ येथे झालेल्या या स्पर्धेत महाराष्ट्र एनसीसी चमूने ६ सुवर्ण, ५ रौप्य व १ कांस्य पदक प्राप्त केले.
यावेळी एनसीसी महाराष्ट्र संचालनालयाचे अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक मेजर जनरल वाय. पी. खंडुरी, कमांडोर सतपाल सिंह, ब्रिगेडिअर सी मधवाल, नेमबाजी चमूचे प्रभारी अधिकारी कर्नल सतीश शिंदे तसेच नेमबाजी स्पर्धेतील सहभागी स्पर्धक उपस्थित होते. महाराष्ट्र एनसीसीच्या नेमबाजी क्रीडा चमूमध्ये ८ मुले व ९ मुली असा १७ कॅडेट्सचा समावेश होता.
Governor Koshyari pats Maha NCC cadets for winning Inter Directorate Shooting Championships
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari patted the contingent of Maharashtra NCC for winning the Inter Directorate Sports Shooting Championships 2022 during a reception held at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Tue (19 July).
The Governor complimented the NCC Maharashtra Directorate shooting team for winning the Championships for the second consecutive year. He presented a memento and the book ‘Wings of Fire’ by APJ Abdul Kalam to the participating Cadets. The Maharashtra NCC team won 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze medals at the Championships held at Chandigarh.
Additional Director General Maharashtra NCC Maj Gen Y P Khanduri, Director Maharashtra Commodore Satpal Singh, Group Commander Mumbai Brig. C. Madhwal, Officer In Charge of Shooting Team Col. Satish Shinde and other officers were present. The Maharashtra contingent had 17 members including 8 boys and 9 girl cadets.
