How to Start Process for Maharashtra Police Bharti 2025:
Interested ; Eligible candidates can apply Online through the website www.mahapolice.gov.in earlier than the due date.
Maharashtra Police Bharti 2025 Exam Pattern In details:
Written Test (100 Marks) Mahapolice :—
(A) Candidates securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in Physical Fitness Test
shall be eligible to be called to appear for a written test of 100 marks in the ratio of
1:10 of vacancies advertised in the respective categories.
(B) The Written Test shall include the following subjects, namely:—
(1) Arithmetic;
(2) General Knowledge and Current Affairs;
(3) Intelligence Test;
(4) Marathi Grammar.
(C) The questions asked in written test shall be multiple choice questions type
and conducted in Marathi language.The duration of Written Test will be 90 minutes.
(D) Candidates are required to get atleast 40 percent marks in the written test.
The candidates securing less than 40 percent marks in written test will be considered as ineligible.
Explanation — Candidates securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the Physical Fitness Test shall be eligible to be called to appear for a written test in the ratio of 1:10 of the vacancies advertised in the respective catagories. If, for example, there are 10 vacancies in the Scheduled Caste category and 5 vacancies in the Scheduled Tribes category, then 100 (10 X 10 = 100) candidates shall be listed on merit in the Scheduled Caste category and 50 (10 X 5=50) candidates, shall be listed in the Scheduled Tribes category. However, all candidates in the Scheduled Caste category who have secured the same marks as the Scheduled Caste candidate at the 100th rank shall be eligible to be called to appear for a written test. Similarly, all Scheduled Tribes category candidates who have secured the same marks as the Scheduled Tribes candidate ranking 50th will be eligible to be called to appear for a written test.
(3) The Selection Board of every Police Unit constituted by the Director General of Police shall prepare a merit list from amongst the candidates based on the results of the two criteria mentioned in sub- rules (1) and (2) of this rule. After amalgamation of marks obtained in Physical Test and Written Test, the final merit list shall be prepared as per steps mentioned in the Home Department’s Governments Resolution No. Police-1819/CR-316/Pol-5A, dated 10th December, 2020 and any subsequent orders issued by the Government, from time to time.”
